From VGC: "The real island of Tsushima has given a prestigious award to two senior members of the Ghost of Tsushima development team.
Game director Nate Fox and Creative director Jason Connell will become permanent tourism ambassadors of the city of Tsushima in Nagasaki, the island announced this week."
Sucker Punch's 2020 open-world title is one of Sony's most successful new IP of all time. So why is the sequel taking so long?
Unfortunately Jims GAAS push delayed a lot of their 1st party stuff so we're just going to have to wait longer than usual.
So basically ... there's no news, only a rumour from a since-deleted Twitter account.
Lol making it sound like they can spit these games out every 3 years 😂😮💨 GOT2 probably wasn't even planned until the realised they had a golden Goose on their hands by the way the first one performed! From scratch it would take easy 4 to 5 years to make! Especially if you're taking your time to make a GOTY game!!
Ghost of Tsushima PC releases on PC on may 16 from Nixxes Software. Check out the PC-exclusive features list and new trailer.
Nixxes is really doing the most here. They have Horizon and Ghost ports releasing within a two month period. Just make sue they don't skimp on quality in favor of quantity. I have faith in their abilities.
The popular PlayStation 4/5 video game Ghost of Tsushima served as a major inspiration for a new Shonen Jump series taking readers by storm worldwide
well done to them...this game evolved to be universally recognised AAA megahit that completely corresponds to the quality of the game ..(in contrary to other that have been pushed as "critical hits" with every possible mean)
"so I cannot thank them enough for telling our story with such phenomenal graphics and profound stories"
"Thanks to the two of them, Sucker Punch Productions, and SIE, I have heard from people all over the world who have learned about Tsushima through their works, and now want to see, know, and go to Tsushima"
This is amazing considering the guy at DigitallyDownloaded wrote an entire thesis on how it was it was culturally insensitive, to this day one of the weirdest reviews I've ever read.
Really hope their next 'Ghost' game will also take place in Japan, perhaps different era, different location (personally hoping for Shikoku Island).
Im so happy ghost of tsushima did well. This is the ultimate form of recognition, more so than any award. Great work guys
Amazing game. One of the best of last year and best new ip. Even on the PS4 runs amazing.
