Books based on video games have been around for years - but books based on casual, mobile releases might just be the Next Big Thing. Kicking off this new movement is the novelisation of Surviving High School, the EA Mobile title which sees you - well - surviving high school.
Nintendo Life writes: "With this downloadable title, EA provides a very entertaining and engrossing experience that many will unfortunately write off based on its name alone. The game is almost completely text-based, which means that there aren't any explosions or fancy graphics, but the story and characters are funny and interesting, making this title very much worth your while."
CSM writes: "The main storyline of SURVIVING HIGH SCHOOL follows a new student at Centerscore High in his attempts to make friends, find dates, keep up his GPA, make the football team, and maybe even become Homecoming King. Exactly where the story goes is up to the player who is constantly asked to make choices based on the situations he finds himself in. As the story progresses, the player will have to take real quizzes for schoolwork, as well as play word games to advance past stituations as varied as dancing in a mosh pit and finding a missing lizard."
