According to the official Capcom blog, 100 total copies of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Devil May Cry 4 Collector's Edition will come personally signed in shiny, silvery ink by the game's producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi. The signed copies will be randomly distributed across the US to a number of retailers and distributors.
In addition, all copies of Devil May Cry 4 Collector's Edition will include Volume One of the Devil May Cry Anime (four episodes in two hours), the making of DVD with the game producer, digital art book and music soundtrack in a special Steelbook case.
With the release of the Devil May Cry series on Netflix, we take a moment to look back on this almost 20-year-old series and let you know the best of the best.
"Devil May Cry 2 isn’t trash. It’s just misunderstood by a fanbase that doesn’t like change."
This and putting DMC 2 number 2 is all I need to ignore this ranking. DMC2 is absolute trash and it's clear this person doesn't understand exactly why.
VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."
3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best
Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...
5, 3, 1, 4, 2.
I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.
But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me
Two Devil May Cry games have been delisted on Steam. As shared on X, formerly Twitter, by Wario64, Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition and Devil May Cry 4 are no longer available to purchase.
Bless the adorably all digital future! When it comes to PC games its not as big of an issue because there should always be another way to access single player games, but still, I hate to see anything get delisted.
Well, DMC4 special edition has a lot of issues to run from Steam.
I have to get a modded executable to even be able to run the game on Windows 10.
Not sure if it is because the game runs in DirectX10 or what, but it sucks they have not even tried to fix it.
As much as I am a big fan of the series... $20 more turns me off and the chance of 1/10 000 or so doesn't tempt me too much. A nice offering tho.
Glad I pre-ordered the CE.
Can't wait for this game! It'll hold me over until Ninja Gaiden 2 (DROOL!)
100 Gamestop employees will now have signed copies.
Cheap bastards, as much as a hardcore DMC fan I am I think for 20 bucks more they could have thrown the entire anime series into the set instead of 4 eps. It's not like space wouldn't permit it, hell the Stranglehold CE on PS3 came with HardBoiled in HD. I wish the golden ticket would be a coupon for working Ebony and Ivory replicas :D then I would get one and run down the street singing "I've got a golden tickeeeeeeet". Oh how grand it would be.
They should allow free paid trips and tou to Hiroyuki Kobayashi and the Capcom factory...
