Iceberg Interactive and developer Camel 101 have today announced that their mission-based space strategy videogame, Gemini Wars, has gone gold and is now available for pre-order on a multitude of digital download portals and in the Iceberg webshop. The boxed edition of Gemini Wars will be released on 8th June 2012 in various European English speaking territories, while localized versions will be released in the course of June 2012 as well.
Deep down, Gemini Wars is a very solid and action packed RTS title. When Camel 101 released it on June 8, 2012, the title was full of bugs and corrupted game files, that would stop the game from running, or just stop players from continuing in general, which made the game nearly impossible to continue playing. In time, however, Camel 101 expressed their concern by providing patches that fixed up a great deal of problems. This is a great thing, considering not many developers do such a thing, however, does that make Gemini Wars a lot better than before?
Canadian Online Gamers: "As much as I love playing a good RTS game, this isn’t one of them. Too many things hold it back from being enjoyable and standing out in a crowd. Maybe if the developers address the problems I experienced in the game this title just might be passable, but right now I have to blow this one out an airlock and walk away."
emini Wars is a real-time strategy game available for PC and Mac through Steam. The game was developed by Camel101 and published by Iceberg Interactive.
