360 Magazine: Assassin’s Creed 3 is resetting Ubisoft’s series with a new location and new hero, but would Assassin’s Creed be a better game without Desmond in it at all?

Yes, let's get shot of him, he's only ever in the way!

No, keep Desmond. I love his pointless sequences.

No. I like Desmond, although his portion on the games are really boring.

To be fair what else could Ubisoft do. The whole idea is going back in time to different locations. No point having both parts of the game suffer. Limiting Desmond to small parts to just tie the stories together and have a full blown other character story make sense

Desmond pulls you away from the experiance with its dull story and boring walk/talk/puzzle solving parts. I would rather be a cool assassin and learn all about the character then jump back in forth to receive tid bits of Desmond story. To me Enzio and now Connor was/will be the real story and I wish I could skip all the Desmond parts. Have an option to ignore or bypass them.

I stopped playing Revelations due to the pointless Desmond puzzles and just youtube the ending for Enzio.

In Summary:
I would like the game to strictly focus on the assassin Connor and skip the future segments with Desmond for future Assassin's Creed games.

You didn't have to play the Desmond chapter's on Revelations...

Yeah i think the Desmond thing in Revelations was pointless. I didnt mind him in Brotherhood though. I like a lot of the comedy talk from the crew members.

Hey wassa Matta? You Altair? I like Desmond, they will expand on him in Ac 3... This is the moment the future parts have been building to... I predict Desmond will get his hands bloody

The whole game will be for desmond

I like Desmond, sure he might not be as interesting as his ancestors but still, it's a nice way for you to take a break from the "past" setting and give you a fresh new setting to interact with.

It's the whole reason I hope they keep using him after AC3, it's not really Desmonds story I would class it as the 2012 storyline, I'm pretty sure the Templars will still be around after he saves the Earth from being destroyed.
