TGF writes: "Since the original Mortal Kombat launched originally in 1992 in arcades, and following the console release in 1993, people have been become huge fans of the iconic characters that have represented the games over the course of the series. There have been countless installments, including several spin-offs. With the ninth game in the series, fans were eager to see the game return to it’s roots, especially when it was given the title of simply Mortal Kombat. The game was originally released on both the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360, and it received praise from many critics. So when it was promised that they would deliver the same experience and more on the PlayStation Vita, fans were definitely excited to see if they were able to pull it off. Especially considering how much content was in the original game."
