Dark Sniper finds it quite interesting that after all of the smoke has cleared, Microsoft has made it known that XBOX 360's primary objective is to become "the poor man's" PLAYSTATION® 3. It's dissapointing to see a multibillion dollar company focus on being behind in sales and finding new ways to keep themselves below profit.

Now that the dust has settled, it looks like XBOX 360 gamers have maxed themselves out with the bland, and redundant titles such as Queers of War, Bio$hit, Galo 3 and Mass Defect.

Theres nothing wrong with this article, and much as I look down on 'the sun' its a fair reflection of how your average UK punter thinks of things. You don't get to remain a coutries most popular newspaper for a generation without being 'in touch' with Mr and Mrs avaerage.

2007 WAS a brilliant year for 360 gamers- no one can deny that some of the best games ever were released on that format last year. Though I accept that the line up for this year looks weaker than the competition, that's not to say there are not some excellent titles to look forward to and the paper does a good job of picking out some of the best highlights of the release schedule. Admittedly Kingdome under fire is a bit naff (spent a few hours on it and I've given up) but theres nothing wrong with Lost Odyssey and I look forward to getting my hands on it.
This was not an article written to compare releases, merely to state what the platform has to look forward to - they will be writting the PS3 version of the article next week.

Sure I expect to be using my PS3 a lot this coming year, but the 360 won't be gathering any dust - theres life in the old girl yet, and I'm gonna be happy to own the both of em for another year!

Glad I have a Ps3. Halo Wars can bee good and so can Too Human even thou its a 10 year old game idea (yes it was supposed to come to PS1 first but was then canceled), Lost Odyssey looks like a Ps2 game according to IGN, and the other games wasn't catchy at all except GTA but that is on Ps3 as well.

- Gears of War 2? The first was a repetitive game with last gen gameplay.
- Fallout 2? Do you mean 3, douche bag? That's multiplat.
- Lost Odyssey flopped and was outsold by Prologue. A demo. LOL!
- UT3? PS3 and PC owners have it. WITH mods AND keyboard + mouse support. Enjoy your watered down port missing the key features that makes UT great.
- Banjo? ROFL! And you dare mention the kiddy PS3 games? At least they're good. Every Banjo game that came after the first sucked.
- RE5 will be better on PS3. Capcom will focus more on the Japanese platform for this one.
- Silent Hill 5 will be better on PS3.
- Ninja Gaiden 2? Another crappy Ninja Gaiden game with a laughable story. It's basically Sigma with more blood.
- Halo Wars is a joke.
- Condemned 2 = Multiplat.
- Bionic Commando = Multiplat.
- Street Fighter 4 = Multiplat. Again, Capcom will focus more on PS3.
- Too Human? This game got canceled like 4 times because it sucked so bad.
- Alan Wake looks like crap and will be better on PC anyway.
- DMC4 = Better on PS3. It's a PlayStation franchise, moron. Stick to your GAYden.
- Kindom Under Fire FLOPPED. 3/10 from 1up LOL!

Dude, I and others have plenty to play. The whole "no games" argument is so old and far from the truth, it's ridiculous to bring up. And you must be blind to the fact that a lot of 360 fanboys do nothing but troll in PS3 game sections. I got one that plays games, functions as a blu-ray player and does several other things out of the box I enjoy. How unfortunate for me I guess.
