Strategy games are a tough sell these days. Not because of market saturation or any reason like that, but because most of them take a lot of commitment to play, and few that already dominate the market (looking at you Stracraft) rule over the gamers’ allotted time. So when a new challenger enters the fray it is always interesting how it will attempt to situate itself in the genre landscape. Games like Starcraft, Civilizations, Command & Conquer, and Total War leave very little wiggling room for other IPs. Enter Naval War: Arctic Circle, the game focused entirely on naval (and aerial) warfare. So, does this RTS sink or swim?
