Dead batteries? Not anymore.

Have you not found a rechargeable solution for your 360's wireless controllers yet? If the Quick Charge Kit or Play and Charge Kit weren't to your liking, there might now be a new alternative; USB Batteries.

Named the USBCELL, these batteries can be used as normal and then recharged simply by plugging them into a USB port.

The story is too old to be commented.

... but WHY ???

Here, try this brand spanken new invention
Smell the sarcasm. Someone else trying to cash in on the 360.

Not to mention to charge via USB takes 10x longer than in a wall.

My Zen Vision M using USB take 6.5 - 7.5 hours to charge. With the wall charger it takes 2 hours.

What's so hard about using the Play & Charge Kit? What someone doesn't wanna have the controller plugged in for a couple hours? Lame.

Yea I don't get it. I have no issues with occasionally plugging my controller in to recharge.

Screw the Play 'n Charge kit and this. The recharging pack recharges the batteries in < 2 hours and comes with a free battery. It's soo much less hassle and worth the money.
