The Game Jar - The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition Review

Ryan Syrett - "Originally released for PC a little under a year ago, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings attempts to brave the seldom ridden path of PC to console port. Assassins of Kings is a third-person RPG based on a series of bestselling books, written by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, developed by CD Projekt RED. The story of The Witcher 2 arcs over protagonist Geralt of Rivia, a Witcher and overall supernatural good egg, and his plight to clear his name as a wrongly accused king slayer… while stopping off every now and then of to play dice poker, kill mutated monsters, get involved in a bar room brawl or have some sex with a buxom wench."

Ok according to this review it's a GOOD thing I am an RPG fan. I hope I love this game because I am picking it up upon it's release ( XBOX360 ).

If you enjoy RPGs, I have no doubt you will enjoy The Witcher 2. It was my personal favorite game of last year(yes, more so than Skyrim), so, unless CD Projekt has made drastic changes for this release, you should have a great time. I can't wait to play through it a third time with the newly implemented DLC.

To sum up the review, he dropped the score for the combat. Too each his own, but I loved the combat and can't wait for the 10gig update in order to play this game again! :)

Nah, this game is clearly 9 or 10 title. The game is awesome! But hey you can never please a FPS fanboy(Most 360 gamers! Unfortunately.) can you. "The Combat isnt great cause Geralt doesnt have a gun nor can he 1 shot kill fools with his magic blasts!"

I hope this game is for me, Skyrim bored the hell out of me but I loved Oblivion (I guess it was too similar and icluded all of it's clunkiness and had an arguably worse setting), also I loved Dark Souls but Mass Effect 3 bored me to tears even though I loved the 1st two.
