Nintendo's world dominating console is seeing it's successor towards the end of 2012 and it's only fair to give the white little box some credit for its strongest games.
All of the Super Smash Bros. games are incredible, but which one stands as the mightiest of them all and has the best modes?
To me smash brows Melee is my all time favorite. I can't tell you how many hours I played that game between friends and family. When I was a kid, my parents couldn't afford a gaming console so I had to go somewhere that had an arcade like setup with the only difference being instead of arcade cabinets, they had big screen crt TV's and gaming consoles setup. I would go with my friends on special occasions after school or with my family on the weekends.
I would meet and make new friends at that place as we were all gamers and we also brought our game boys and would trade pokemon. I don't think those places exist these days but back then, it was easy to meet like-minded people and have fun for hours.
Well, I’ll add my extremely subjective ranking too. I won’t include the 3DS version as I don’t owned it. I did play it for a few minutes though.

The classic Resident Evil 4 GameCube release, the title that redfined the hugely popular series, debuted 20 years ago today.
Bought it the day it came out. Probably the most graphically impressive GameCube game.
It looks great but it's also pre-rendered backgrounds in tight, enclosed spaces. From a technical perspective RE4 is more impressive.
I'd say Resident Evil Zero which was canned on the Nintendo 64 and ported to the GameCube.
I still give it up to Factor 5 with Rogue Squadron 2 and 3. Those games look amazing still today. They squeezed a lot out of that box.
RE4 was no slouch either though.
I think I'd give it to Metroid Prime and Echoes. 60fps with all those particle effects, and Samus' reflections.
The Remaster on Switch and Trilogy version on Wii are actually missing certain graphical effects.
The most influential game of all time. Along with the movie Aliens, it has shaped the industry.
The gameplay and narrative influence on horror video games from Capcom's critically acclaimed Resident Evil 4 can still be felt 20 years later.
I'm hoping the updated version gets released on the next Switch, I'd love to have it portable.
I'm sure all the REmakes and newer entries will be on Switch 2. Looking forward to it!
