iPhones May Be The GameBoys Of The Future

We all knew iPhones were popular, but were they really this popular? Studies claim that: "In our Spring 2012 survey, 34% of students owned a tablet computer (same percentage as iPhones), up from 29% in Fall 2011 and 22% last Spring. Umm, no. GameBoy is far superior for gaming.

recninja2433d ago

Depends on what games strike your interests, no?

Games ?

And joke aside still games :p . The gameboy had a library of titles worth being jealous ... the iphones/pads not even close .

They are still busy cloning stuff already available , and most times badly . Or doing "flash games"

No. If you want games, you should buy a gameboy advance. Iphone isn't a gaming device. It's a smartphone with the capability to run games (but without buttons).

Wintersun616 wins!!! anybody that played some emulators (or normal/more complex games) on a touchscreens knows, that for being able to fully enjoy playing, buttons are mandatory.

The 3ds is the gameboy of the future

Rainstorm812433d ago

Thats actually a good analogy for casual girl hates gaming but plays tons of little casual games on her tablet.

But as far as a future device that actually compares to the Gameboy.....that goes to the PSV or the 3DS

I don't think the 3DS counts as something that's actually good. I own one, but it's nothing special. Plus it's bad for your eyes (and gives slight headaches).

I do enjoy playing with my iPad, with the iCade. Physical buttons are better, so I agree the Game Boy was pretty dang good.
