Z- The Game Now Available on Steam

Carl Williams writes, "This is not simply a re-release of the classic real time strategy title. TickTock Games, KISS Ltd and Kavcom have rebuilt the original from the ground up with new, modern, PC’s in mind (there is no DOSBox emulation going on here). This update brings along with it all of the original’s fun, strategy, weapons and enemies. They also kept the Bitmap Brother’s humor, style and attitude."

Z Finally Releases On GOG and Steam…With a Host of Problems

The Bitmap Brothers’ Z has finally hit GOG and Steam. That is correct. For the first time, the cult classic strategy game, has been officially updated in a “remake” for modern systems. It seems it would be about time, too, as the game has garnered nearly 2600 votes on the GOG Community Wishlist. Not nearly the amount System Shock 2 had, mind you, but a sizable amount, nonetheless!

Unfortunately, this edition of Z, developed by TickTock Games and published by Kiss, Ltd., seems to be, well, lacking.

Z The Game returns to PC and is Available on Steam from 5th July

Everyone remembers Z The Game right? That classic RTS game featuring rocket fuelled robots lead by a memorable character named Commander Zod.

Well, the 21st Century reissue of The Bitmap Brothers' classic is now available according to digital publisher Kiss' press release, although we've just checked the listing on Steam and it says 5th July, which is in two days...
