Dengeki PlayStation this week revealed Neptunia V as the latest game from the RPG series, due this summer for PlayStation 3.
"Over the years NISA has published some interesting RPGs, but only a few of them were really successful. Among this list is Neptunia, which is an RPG about the game industry and really games in general. Naturally this spoke to a lot of people and the original game became quite the collectible. Shortly after the sequel, Neptunia MK II released with even more buzz than the original. Now that the third title in the series, Neptunia Victory is out in the US, will it remain a success or has the concept played out?" - JPS
Nice to see the game get good reviews for what it is, a niche game that will be enjoyed by fans of the original game. One of the few reviews that do not make a big deal out of the art style & clearly Japanese stereotypes.
For me i'm still waiting for NISA to send the game, i expect it next week i hope.
Kinda surprised to see this game doing quite well. Used to see low scores for the Neptunia games but this new one seems to be pulling off great.

There is something about this series that i enjoy, it may be the quirkiness, the cool references to gaming, the moe characters. It does not take itself seriously which is what i like about it.
I like the premise for this next game taking place in the 80s so maybe we will see a character based on the Atari or the original NES.
Is this hyperdimension neptunia 3?
that was fast. didnt the second game just come out last year?
