Try Indie: "Fans of the maddeningly difficult (yet fun) original will quickly see that underneath the totally new engine and cartoon-style graphics is the same game we know and love. The developers throw people looking for an easier experience a bone with glorious checkpoints, while daring the seasoned gamers to play like they used to. I felt right at home and appreciated some of the changes."
PSN:
There is hardly anything wrong with this addictive and utterly crazy game. From the moment the utterly bizarre advertisement pops up and Charles Martinet’s voice flows through the speakers you know you are in for a crazy and delightful experience.
There is so much to keep you entertained with this Cross-Buy title and the desire to play it through twice is an easy choice to make. BIT.TRIP Presents… Runner2: Future Legend Rhythm Alien is mad fun for the whole family and I cannot recommend it enough.
Runner2 is the new (or old) 2D sidescroller, PlayStation 4 release by Gaijin games, which came out back on February 24th but if you’ve been paying attention you’ll probably know that the game was released on other platforms back in 2013.
GameCrate: "Launching in February 2013, Runner2 from Choice Provisions (then known as Gaijin Games) took the runner formula and created one of the most impressive entries in the genre, if not the most impressive. Let's take a look at this game, which just so happens to be the greatest game ever...of the week."
