Team Ninja’s Yohei Shimbori, the game director behind the upcoming Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 title, Dead or Alive 5, reveals a few more details regarding the cliffhanger mechanic in the fighting game.
The game is filled with a bunch of useless casual mechanics that should've never been in the game to begin with.
Maybe, but this cliffhanger sounds pretty fun actually. And it's based on similar timing mechanic used by Dissidia in airborne combat, so we have something familiar already. I'm keen to give it a chance.
Bare some hardcore fanbase it's a game that was mostly played casually anyway so ... Hell if anything it's making counters less abusive and pace breaking so far . Hardly the same as say neutering Ninja Gaiden .
