French gaming site Jeuxvideo.fr is hosting three exclusive videos and 36 screenshots of Secret Files 2.
Secret Files 2 is a classical point & click adventure. It contains no action sequences, there are no dead ends, and your playable character can't die when trying something wrong. You will again play with Nina and Max, the main characters from Secret Files: Tunguska. The story will be a new one, so it is not required to play the first game to have fun with Secret Files 2.
ComputerGames writes: "Women are the most effective detectives, greyhounds or lie detectors on the planet. From the classic lipstick that blemishes men's shirts and up to any unfamiliar smell inside the conjugal bedroom, they can speculate and detect with an amazing accuracy if any deer has walked on your meadows or even messed your sheets. For these reasons, game developers had no reservations in offering important roles to women, roles illustrating both their talents and their famous female instinct."
"The quality of production in Secret Files 2 has taken a huge leap since the first game in the series. Cut-scenes are of a decent quality and provide a solid foundation for what is an intriguing tale of murder and intrigue. The audio work and the voice-acting have also been improved. The original Secret Files had some really annoying voice-work but the cast have done a great job here at delivering their lines convincingly."
WorthPlaying writes: "Secret Files 2 is a point-and-click adventure game based on mysterious phenomena around the world. As a follow-up to Secret Files: Tunguska, the sequel takes on a different mystery in a totally different location. This 940mb demo contains the complete first chapter, including the prologue."
I thought Secret Files: Tunguska sucked. Point-and-click games just aren't where it's at anymore, the only good ones now in recent memory are the Sam & Max games. Now they're what you call funny.
