How Ubisoft strikes fast, early on new hardware

Whenever a new console heads to market, you can rest assured that Ubisoft will likely have at least one game in the platform's launch lineup. I wish ubisoft the best of luck. It will be a treat to see what ubisoft can do for the millions ans millions of Nintendo supporters worldwide. The Nintendo Wii U is an open canvas for ubisoft to have their dreams realized. We are all patiently waiting and looking forward to ubi announcements.

The Nintendo Wii U tablet controller has already proven to do wonders for the Ghost Recon franchise as far as innovation is concerned. For anyone who has not seen the tricks that Ubisoft has pulled out the hat for that game should take notice.

Have a good day and happy gaming.

Hmmm.. Don't expect too much innovation, usually when new "hardware options" come out to the devs, it takes some time until you see something really good, that uses those. If you will see it. I was very, very optimistic f.ex. for Kinect, it's great tech yes, but in the end I have had zero reasons to buy the hardware.. WiiU has more potential tought.

Well, we'll see soon I think..

on the one hand I'm pleased that they are showing support, then on the other I'm worried for all the shovelware they churn out. (apart from their main franchises)

wii u: most powerful console in the world

SlowBurn4405d ago

depends on which world, really.
A glorified 360 with a tablet controller six years after the 360 doesn't have me overly excited.
I have a certain amount of faith in both Ubi and Nintendo,I just hope it isn't misplaced. The Wii U could potentially be a shovelware dream come true.see soon enough

You don't even need a TV to play it! That is a huge plus if there are tons of people in your household.

@below
the whole point of the tablet controller is to be able to play when the TV is busy. if everyone wants to play with the Wii U then you can play on the TV or you can play on the tablet controller and share.

Still doesn't help if everyone in your household want to play some video games.

Its not a wonder console but it is FASTER unlike the lies that are being spread about it, as well to the fact that it has many more features, being a fanboy won't help you see the truth.

Ubi did a great job early this gen with ghost recon and rainbow 6 but for me assasins creed ended the dream run that game was not my thing at all.

Ubisoft's Recent Antics Have Me Fearful For The Sands of Time Remake

Hanzala from eXputer: "With Ubisoft's practices becoming increasingly anti-consumer lately, the destruction of The Sands of Time Remake looks almost inevitable."

Hey Ubi, here's a gun, don't shoot yourself in the foot.

*Ubi takes gun, aims at foot, empties clip*

At this point, only dummies have any hope left for Ubi-junk games.

Every industry has these issues

Some companies I’ve worked for were great and some were toxic as hell (UPS when I was a teenager was extremely toxic and I have heard it still is) It all starts at the top. They either hold people accountable , set standards and treat people with respect or the crap rolls downhill.
