Square Enix announce new game Crystal Conquest

Having teased us long enough, Square Enix have now announced their newest side-scrolling strategy title; a free to play browser game called Crystal Conquest run on Yahoo! Games.

I've been a huge FF fan over the last 10-15 years and I own every major FF game released for a Playstation console, heck I even own Chocobo Racing..

Stop milking the franchise with shitty random minigames and just give us another full-blown title.
Shitty minigames isnt what make people fall in love with FF, the quality games is.

It looks pretty cool, but it's a browser game, that's retarded at least make it a mobile game like Crystal Defenders was.

I just kinda wish SE would stop announcing games for like a year or two and just finish up their absurd backlog of games that need to be made. You know like FFvs13? It's been quite a few years since that was announced, it'd be nice to finally get a release date or a general idea where the game is.

Everyone hoped this was something worthwhile...Personally I knew it wasn't. I love Squaresoft, but the modern day SquareEnix blows. In the last 10 years they've made under 5 games that I actually appreciate, all the rest are garbage IMO.

There is no point in conjuring up any sort of emotion when it comes to SE and any announcements they make. They have demonstrated a complete lack of caring for what fans think or want, as well as falling completely out of touch with all but their home fans. They stick their collective fingers in their collective ears and go lalalalalalala when we say anything. That's the reason games like FFXIII and FFXIII-2 exist. That's why Versus XIII isn't out yet. That's why they announce new games instead of giving us info on games we actually want to hear about. And that's why, when they do decide to give information, they do it via closed mega theatres and obscure interviews.

Just stop paying attention to them.
