Garvaos from Plus XP writes "You would think that the idea of throwing a variety of exotic birds at some evil green pigs would have only limited amusement value, and yet since its launch in 2009 the phenomenon that is Angry Birds has sold over 12 million copies. 12 million copies of a previously unknown game is pretty awesome, and this figure is excluding the amount of downloads on the Android market. It is now safe to say that gamers and non-gamers alike have been hooked on Angry Birds with its, wacky theme, massive collection of levels and great replay value. So far we have had Angry Birds games to cover all seasons including Halloween, Easter, Christmas and even a dragon themed game to celebrate Chinese new year. We have also had a game themed around the Pixar animated movie Rio which involved setting birds free instead of killing greedy green pigs. Have Rovio Mobile finally run out of Ideas? Have they decided to cadge up their exotic birds of destruction? The short answer is no."
Angry Birds Space, one of the many entries of the series created by Rovio now available for purchase on the App Store, has received a new update today, which include some new stages and features.
Triverse writes, "It is no secret that Windows Phone 8 has a smaller app market than either iOS or Android but it is apparently a secret just what hits are available. That is why we are doing this special report for new Windows Phone 8 owners that are looking for games for their new pocket power house (none of the Windows 8 phones can really be called “underpowered”)."
I love my lumia, and couldn't to back to iOS after it. The lack of games isn't the problem, it has a gba, snes, nes etc emulators what it needs is some of its basic apps made better such as the music app and the Internet app.
Windows phones will eventually be replaced by intel powered Lumias running windows 8.
I love my lumia 920. You just have to search for the apps. hell, most of the stuff that the Galaxy s4 does, on the camera side, there are free apps on the wp8 marketplace.
Burton
Blink
Proshot (not free)
I especially like it because, I dropped my GS3 on the concrete.......... destroyed. I dropped my Lumia 920 on the concrete.......... not a scratch.
