The more info that is released the more I want this game.

iamironman2518d ago

will 2000 ever appear on screen though?

pr0digyZA2518d ago

From what I have read yes there will. Looks like there are some huge battles where two armies fight each other.

Jobesy2518d ago

And a better question, how will the ps3, xbox360 handle it? I hope it can keep a steady frame rate.

Is this for current gen?
Or is it the Wii U version.

EliteDave932518d ago (Edited 2518d ago )

Dont come here with that bullshit man! you know damn well it might aswell be for 360 and PS3. So shuv it! Next gen is far away still so..

If it can allow over 2,000 models, each with their AIs, to appear on screen simultaneously while keeping a constant framerate, I will be very impressed.

It would make for some epic battles between Americans and British.

kevnb2518d ago

yes that would be impressive on current consoles, heck its impressive on pc.

MurDocINC2518d ago

There's not going be AI, just duplicated animated models. There no way consoles can handle that much AI. My high-end PC has trouble with 1000 AI Skyrim battles.

Eamon2518d ago

Yeah that makes sense. Just repeated script of animations of individual soldiers fighting each other.

Voxelman2518d ago

most likely like the scene from the trailer, models so small that they can be really low detail and all use the same basic animations etc.
It looks cool and is still an amazing feat in engineering.

It's basically the same technique that the Total War games use to do their 5000 man battles.

I just with that Ubisoft didn't sell us glorified expansion packs and package and sell them as "new games" the past couple of years. Brotherhood was fair, but Revelations wasn't great at all in my opinion.

I've already got this one pre-ordered though, looks great.
