The skinny on the franchise that's been scaring our pants off since 1996.
Got that retro survival horror bug? Here's Chit Hot's picks for the seven best survival horror games from yesteryear.
Eternal Darkness was way ahead of its time especially for a Nintendo exclusive.
I would love to see a remake or sequel (multiplatform)
4 people love Eternal Darkness.
Quick! Jump on that remake, whoever holds the rights these days.
GameFlavor's Resident Evil First Aid Drink is making a comeback, offering high quality Resident Evil merch.
Games like Lethal Company end up scary because of their freeform nature, while Resident Evil's polish and storytelling ultimately make them rather tame in comparison. Agree or disagree?
10 pages? Forget it. I still wonder how effed up the expression on that pic is. The game franchise has been awesome and RE1 started one of the most memorable game series ever.
That said I was 14yo when RE1 came out and at that age and at that point in time in gaming history RE1 was ground breaking so I tend to look at it with rose tinted glasses.
RE4 was something fresh and awesome imo but after that it has gotten to sh*t pretty much. Imo they should add some mystery (a la Silent Hill 1 and 2) into the game to keep it creepy or MAKE it creepy for once. Siren Blood Curse is a good example of a creepy game.
My 2 cents.
@disagrees
It would be rather helpfull to mention what you are exactly disagreeing with. What happened to discussion this gen?
