Gamesta.com reports that independent developer Brian Kramer from Subsoap is giving away 75,000 copies of his Faerie Solitaire game. That's about $300K in sales simply given out! Get yours no strings attached by following one of two methods.
Rocket Jump: EVO, Steam sales, and Faerie Solitaire are on this week’s agenda. Jim, Ben and Jeff talk about the world’s #1 card game, the world’s #1 fighting game tournament, and the soon-to-be world’s #1 gaming/paparazzi website. Also, we think J.K. Rowling wrote The Running Man.
Gamers Hideout recently had the opportunity to interview Brian Kramer, developer for Sub Soap studios, the team behind faerie solitaire.
VGC writes, "Subsoap has created a new version of solitaire and has even added a story to it. The game starts off with the story mode that puts you in a forest looking for the way out. After a small cut scene, the game’s first area opens up. Each area has a total of 9 levels or boards. Scattered throughout each board are various items to collect. The actual game itself has cards laid face down on the board with the top card flipped over, just like the regular solitaire game. Instead of moving cards over each stack or moving to a pile in order, the board is cleared by moving cards to a single pile at the bottom of the board. "
We reviewed this title at Video Game Cowboys awhile back, it garnered a 60 out of 100 for anyone interested.
