Or does he sound a bit hung over this week?

One the one hand, the game play apparently has sweet parts that are fun and enjoyable. On the other hand, even fun enjoyable game play cannot overcome the fact that it is hard to do much with Mario that has not already been done. And the camera angles (sometimes a problem with Mario 64 as well as any other 3-D game platformer I have played) aren't perfect.

Still, I think this would be one of those most have games if I owned a Wii, except for the fact that I don't like the whole numchuck-wave-your-hand-around concept. And even then it would be a must have - Nintendo's first party games are normally pretty cool.

...he sounded less funny and more mad in this one. I think his reviews have been going down-hill. Probably because he has to write a new one every week and strive to be funny.

I think his humor style works best when he's making fun of stupid aspects in the game's design choices (like summoning the hell imps in The Darkness - just to move a parked car). Not when he just lobs generic complaints like "I'm a weenie and don't like shaking the controller."

Then he just sounds like a jack-ass.

this one was just .. not funny .. i think it was the speed of it or something .. or maybe its because he is so 2007.

*chuckles* +bubble for you

That was a funny review. Crap talk aside though, it seems the game won him over.
