Multiple sources are reporting different release dates between February and April for for GTA IV. Now, GameTrailers has added their own date for the game: March 3. -- PSX Extreme, 1/1/2008, Ben Dutka
This game is good to be the best thanks
MGS4, 2008 is going to be an awesome year for PS3 owners.
will take note million seller day one on the 360.
I hope devs release games during the year and not just clump them all up for the end of 08. I don't have time to play X number of epic games during the holiday seasons
Yea they always wait until fall for anything gaming.
They aren't going to mess around with their investors any longer (given their financial situation), and with all the stores pointing towards a March release date and taking preorders, it's almost a given that we'll see it sometime in spring. Besides, I bet they're wrapping up the game right now given if they wish to meet their release date in spring. One thing is for sure, the sooner they release this game, the more they'll be able to capitalize on the current tv writers strike because this is one time that you can't afford to snooze. Even if they were to give us two weeks notice on the date and released it by the end of this month, it'll still sell better then if they were to wait any longer because so as long as people have nothing to watch on their Tivos, they'll shell out the $60 for some new entertainment, even if they weren't that big on GTA before.
i dont really have to bother about this game as i knoW rOCKSTAR is a killa app and a half AAAAAAA COMpany this game will be amazing
Give it to me now!
5 more months is all it needs
and GoW; Chains of olympus coming out the next day...............
while the PS3 will Struggle to even get half a Million Sold on it's Console. You Sony Idiots know this is going to come True, Just like every other Multi-Platform Game. I mean take CALL OF DUTY 4 for example, it SOLD 400,000 on PS3 and 1.6 million on 360. here's the LINK to all you SONY Idiots in Denial: http://buzz.omgili.com/prev... Deny it all you want but only a True Idiot would believe PS3 will SELL alot of Copies of GTA4.
if you don't mind, can you give me a link to prove your statement? thanks. and if you can't, then you are speaking out of your ass, and need to STFU. On topic: As for the release date of GTA IV. I am sure that it will sell millions of copies, and many Gamers will enjoy the game. I don't know if I should get this game for my PS3 or Xbox360. Which ever version have the least amount of problems such as framerate drop and bugs, that they version I will get. I really don't care for the Downloadable contents. Updated: @VideoGames4Life Why did you message me with your link for? here is the link. everyone that want to know what article he message me http://buzz.omgili.com/prev... dude November sales don't count for all the sales so far. And NPD only do North America Sales and Total Worldwide sales. So I guess I was right. You are a sad excuse of a fanboy and need to start playing your games (that is if you have any) and stop trashing other people consoles of choice. and that goes to Sony and Nintendo Fanboy also.
If by 400,000 you mean 1.3 million, then yes, you're correct about COD4 on the PS3.
is another looser and dumbass, do you even know how much is x-box 360 install base, lets me tell you it's almost 2x the ps3 install base and if cod 4 sell 1.6m on x-box 360 and 400,000 on the PS3 isn't that showing the x-box 360 is doing really bad even though the install base is almost 2x the ps3 install base btw isn't x-box 360 is suppose to sell FPS game more than any other systems and especially NA
The real question is how reliable are Gametrailers when it comes to release dates? The game is due out in March or April we know that, but no official month is known yet or a date.
Let the waiting game begin for this little gem to be released, time will only tell
This game is cool but definitely not my NO#01 game this year. BUT This year is gonna be great!!
cool if they release it 3 days before my birthday.
