Bethesda to Announce Elder Scrolls MMO in May

While details are still few and far between, Tom’s has learned that ZeniMax Online Studios and Bethesda will officially announce Elder Scrolls Online in May 2012.

Seriously, if it was an MMO I would understand, but this is a single player only game!

Either way this isn't true or i hope to god it isn't. Why the hell would Bethesda game studios just hand their prize franchise over to a studio just starting out. Todd Howard has also stated on many occasions that mp or mmo is not the direction they want to take ES. Mate.

I got cheated out of this supposed "Game of the Year" I got one of the worst games I ever had the displeasure of playing.

Imagine if me and you go see a movie.

I see the movie normally, you see it with no sound and the movie is choppy and cuts of half way.

And you don't get a refund.

I was robbed of an experience, thats what pisses me off. They knew it was unfinished, and they still sold it to people like me, expecting a good game.

There are studios like Rockstar and Platinum Games and hell, most game devs today whom make their products so that everyone enjoys them equally.

And dont give me the "oh skyrim is this massive game" garbage.

If it can be done on 360, it can be done on PS3. They are both equally matched as consoles. One has better online, the other uses blu-ray and has more first party support. But for 3rd party studios their is an equal ground.

This game that is supposed to have an INFINTE amount of content was able to fit on one dvd, and a game like LA Noire requires 3.

WTF? Where is the logic in that?

AND NO ONE SEEMS TO COMPLAIN. We let Bethesda get away with this crap, some people accuse Bethesda for this. But Bethesda doesn't care they got our money.

Hell it only took them 3 months to fix. SO WHY NOT DELAY YOUR GAME ON PS3 FOR 3 MONTHS?

Say "hey, its not ready yet give us sometime" People would have understood. Not this shady, put the game out and shut up garbage.

BETHESDA? F**K that, lets shower them with awards and then after that, they come out and say...hey we knew about the problems before, but thanks for our awards.

People are complaining about day 1 dlc, but no one complains about a game that is clearly unfinished, no we shower it with awards.

Whats worse? Taking content out of a finished game, or selling one that was not finished at all?

I was going to trade in Skyrim, but I should smash it with a hammer, at least I can get my frustration out. I payed 60 bucks to have fun, I did not and smashing Skyrim will be well worth it after all the frustration

i think it would be better as a co op game 4-8 players. just add co op onto the recent elder scrolls game.

Just gona say, not gonna happen. For a long time any ways. Probably will be a fallout mmo or even a new ip.

Bethesda is simply not capable of making a quality game that can be successful mmo. No way. If they make something, it will fail miserably because of bugs and many other technical issues.

If they would be smart, they would just make next Fallout and experiment with co-op or multiplayer, maybe take it from there. Otherwise, good luck trying to play whatever mess that mmo is gonna turn out to be.

Well at least they gave us Skyrim first. I remember when people were worried that V was gonna be an MMO.

This could be good if it plays like an Elder Scrolls game and not like all that swtor wow BS. However I'm by default not going to bother with it because it's definitely going to require subscription.

I'm happy to wait for Skyrim DLC and after that happy to wait a further 3 years for TES VI.
