Hilarious podcast as always. I was on the floor when u were takin bout that kids head on the bus driver's lap lmao. Btw Blade, why do you think that people are tired of AC? AC is the best selling new IP of this generation...PLENTY of people out there want it.
Also, as far as your "$500 IPads sell, so why wouldn't a $250 Vita sell?" argument...its called brand equity, the premium that people pay for a brand name. It's the reason why the IPad outsells Archos and Cowon tablets(even though Archos and Cowon tablets are cheaper) and the reason that the Iphone outsells CHEAPER smartphones, and the reason why Coca-Cola outsells the CHEAPER store brand Colas..even though both sodas taste virtually the same.
People are willing to pay MORE money for a portable product backed by Apple than by Sony, Samsung, Phillips etc. A $400 Vita backed by Apple would sell more than a $250 Vita backed by Sony. Not saying this is "right"...but its true.
great show as always... the bias segment was funny as h#ll! the last game i played on my xbox 360 was gear3. i rented it. i finished it in a couple of days. i returned the game back to blockbuster. the game was good but i am just renting 360 games now. i am no longer investing my buy cash into that system. i am just focusing buying games for my 2 ps3. i do not know all the games Valve has but after buying Orange Box/Portal 2 for the ps3. i am cool on them. i should of learned my lesson with Orange Box for the Ps3. i stripped myself face first into the dizzy a#ss game called Portal 2. the game should of been 9.99 psn game at max. i payed $60 bones for this game. i became bore after a couple of hours of looking upside down/right side up and the most headache gameplay ever invented in a game.. How do a game like this gets mp of the year. My wife bailed out of playing the mp after 20 minutes with me. My best friend who talked me into buying Portal 2 the traded the game before we had a change to play it together. i do not know if Valve can pull off a console. (half life,LFD,TF,CS and Portal) anyway great show!
