The next instalment in the Metal Gear Solid franchise could yet make use of the tilt sensors that feature in the PlayStation 3 controller. In an interview with US magazine PSM2, series creator Hideo Kojima admitted that the team behind Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots hadn't decided on how to utilise the tilting mechanism in the PS3 pad, but did throw out some ideas of his own to the magazine, suggesting that, "Perhaps you could use it for the FP view, or to shake down guards for items, like in the past MGS games."
Wow now thats what I wanted to hear, a legendary developer who is not scared to use this new feature. I hope he will find a way to utilize this controller and make it a worthwhile addition to the Ps3.
I like where he stated that the camoflodge suit is made by using a trick in the Ps3 hardware. That means that he got some sort of grip on how to develope games for this so called "hard to develope for Ps3". I can't wait to get my hands on this game it looks like it will be above and beyond what I was expecting.
all this says is "COULD". That's like saying nothing, MGS4 "could" also travel you back in time or "could" be free. This isn't news.
But this is an article about Kojima Interview about the game, which he is considering of using the tilt sensor on the game. "Could" does not mean noting, "could" mean possibility of it happening.
Who cares anyway.
The Wii has the only new fun movement controller. The Sony movement controller will only irritate endlessly. Oh sh*tty I just in the heat of the moment was shaking my controller or pulled it away when I was in the moment. Damn the stupid movement sensor reacted and now I'm doing something I didn't ment to.
Really this is a no-no compared to the Wii. And with NO RUMBLE it's even just plain funny cheap playtoys
Sony should leave the sensors controller to Wii.
