EA SPORTS Issue Pre-Order Warning for FIFA Street & Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 13

Electronic Arts’ sports label, EA SPORTS, has today begun issuing an official warning to their registered users regarding the upcoming launches of FIFA Street and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13. Billed as a ‘launch update’, the communication is a reaction to the stock crisis currently being suffered by UK videogames specialist retailer, GAME.

walked into my local GAME store on friday and it was dead. No one in it bar me. I remember ten years ago or so when I went in on a friday evening it would be busy. I put gaming stores decline down to online gaming because the prices haven't changed. I know so many people who play online exclusively. The new generation of young gamers have grown up in cycles of COD, Warcraft, etc and don't regularly buy new games because of the lasting appeal of online multiplayer. The fps for example, is dead when it comes to story and campaign modes. For me the last great fps was Half Life and that was a long time ago.
