Sorcery Storms PlayStation Move This May

PS Blog writes: "We are pleased to announce that one of the most highly anticipated titles for the PlayStation 3 home console and the PlayStation Move motion control peripheral, the fantasy spell-casting game Sorcery, will be available in stores in North America on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012. The game is an action packed magical adventure where the PlayStation Move is your magic wand and only you, a sorcerer’s young apprentice, can harness the true power of magic to save this mystical realm from the darkness of the Nightmare Queen."

I'm glad they changed the art design and took a step back to look at what they wanted to do creatively. Personally, this is one of my most anticipated games so far. May can't get here soon enough!

might be the game to convince me to purchase a move

It's good that they finally have a signature Move-only title but this game should've been a launch title for the peripheral.

Finally. I bought the Move with two wands, a navi and Sports Champions day one. My one complaint is that Sony has not had enough exclusive Move support. Sure they have Move support for titles like Killzone, SOCOM and Resistance, but I still prefer to play those games with a SixAxis. I really hope Sorcery does well, because if it does, Move may see more games of this quality developed. I'm also excited to see how Move plays on the new Bioshock... it's one of the few shooters where I could see it being a real asset.

just out of interest, if KZ3 and Infamous 2 was only playable with the MOVE, would you consider them MOVE games then?

If they were exclusively Move playable, yes. But neither of them were developed with Move being their main controller. That's a good question, I think what I want is games developed around the Move controller, not Move added. I liked Tumble, because it was developed around the move. I'd like to see more puzzle games where Move could be used. I think Sorcery is the first action game from Sony to really be developed for the hardware, and that's what I want to see. This of course is just my opinion, and I'm not crapping on the games that support Move, because they're great games.

I was thinking about it a little more, and I think a game based on the TV show Top Shot would be fun and a good use of the sharp shooter. With different weapons and challenges, plus you could use two wands for bow and arrow challenges. Just an idea.

You should try killzone 3 with move youll be in a shock how good those controls are.

They need tweeking to be honest, i know it took me a good 1/2 hour to get them where i want them, but it is worth it.

' But neither of them were developed with Move being their main controlle'

Ill disagree to this, tweek it in the option menu the turning speed, dead zones, aim assist, zoom they all can be changed to what you like and it will save those settings for you except for calibration...you should try it
