Absolutely. We already know QD's style but since this is a "Tech demo" they're sure to be showing a new & captivating design.

Just hoping the new game doesn't have the same tone as Heavy Rain. Man, i'm not up for more of that depressing atmosphere.

Weren't there rumors that it was going to be set in a war?

Call of Duty clone confirmed

edit: I guess sarcasm my sarcasm was really hard to detect lol

I can't wait to see what his next project. Heavy Rain and Indigo Prophecy were pretty dang good.

War setting I would love to see from Quantic Dreams. Love to see what they could do to something that is so bland in gaming when it comes to story.

I popped in Heavy Rain this week and started playing it again. Love the game so much

ChrisGTR13560d ago

now all we gotta do is wait 5 years till it releases.

A game focused around the war, but not the war itself, would be nice. Especially telling a story from the perspective of WWII families during the war or during the Nazi invasion of countries like Poland.

QD is in a league of there own. I recommend HeavyRain to anyone who's fatigued or sick of FPS-ers. LA Norie tried to ride there wave, but failed horribly.....

Surfaced3559d ago

Damn, why all the disagrees?

lol what'd I say?

LUCKYXS7LEVEN3559d ago

Major your sarcasm wasn't "Too damn High "

Finally! Been waiting forever to see what they have up their sleeves next. Love their games, every last one of them.

KrimsonKody3559d ago

...You really mean every last 'two' of them.
Lol.

callahan093559d ago

Omikron, Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain. That's 3 titles in a row that I have loved. Three. Not two.

TruthBTold3560d ago

Heavy Rain is still to this day my favorite PS3 exclusive by far. Never have I played a game like that before. I missed out on that game that was similar to HR last gen, I forgot what it was called. When i played through it the second time I was afraid to do anything different because my original play through went down in such an epic way. I was actually afraid to change the story. Did anyone else have that same problem?

With that said I hope the new Quantic announcement is another dark mystery.

Scott Shelby > others.

Rated E For Everyone

LX-General-Kaos3559d ago

yea thats the one! thank you sir.

I'm right with you. Heavy Rain is by far the #1 most immersive video game I've ever experienced in my entire life as a gamer going back to the Atari days. Just an amazing interactive journey. And an emotional roller-coaster ride.

Only 2 games in history have ever actually emotionally touched me. Shadow of the Colossus, which literally made me depressed when I thought about killing all those creatures. And Heavy Rain which just dragged me through just about every single human emotion there is. Happiness, sadness, tension, love, hate, rage, fear, relief. "Emotional Roller-Coaster Ride" is really the only way to describe it.

And people bash the gameplay saying it's not a game, or it's just a bunch of QTEs. I don't buy that. The Force Unleashed, or GoW....those are QTEs. Heavy Rain's aren't QTEs imo, they're tests of dexterity and being able to keep your cool while burdened by emotions.

For me......as of right now, Heavy Rain is the greatest video game ever made.......well, maybe SMB3 is still #1 for me, but they;re so different, I couldn't say. It's AMONG my favorite video games of all time certainly.

And no, I didn't have that problem. I had to play through Heavy Rain 5 times in a row, just to experience it again and to make sure I saw the results of every option. I also NEEDED to see every ending, and that need had nothing to do with the trophy to do so. If there were no trophies I'd have done exactly the same thing.

I also have a feeling The Last of Us is going to have alot of the same qualities Heavy Rain has. BEfore it was revealed I though it was going to be QD's next game.
