With all the on-disc dlc you're putting out, no wonder.

Knight_Cid4861d ago

Lets put this into context

1) I doubt it

2) If they get close it would be because of dlc, not new game sales or anything like that

Sounds about right, digital is already more than half of the PC market. And with Sony looking to make a big push towards digital with the Vita (day and date cheaper digital versions of all retail games) and Nintendo making some moves to bring more digital content to their platforms and MS have a strong digital arm already, next gen could see consoles having a significant % of revenue being digital in the near future as well.

Then there are the emerging full digital platforms like mobile phones and streaming services like OnLive. Digital is growing fast and it's only going to get bigger. Hell they could get to 50% sooner than 2017...

Voxelman4860d ago

They are going to find a way of monetising torrents? Wow they really will be the richest game company on the planet if they do that!

I mean 50% of revenue from torrents, wow

New IP, please. Used to be (in the 80s) if it was a Capcom game, you knew it was good.

jznrpg6d ago

Pragmata is a new IP so there’s that. Another one would be nice though

Babadook76d ago (Edited 6d ago )

Honestly Capcom is still somewhat of a seal of quality for me.
