Kotaku: YouTube user SoulReaperTTG has managed to get a hold of all the introductions for the 12 PS Vita-only characters in Street Fighter X Tekken which releases for PS3 and Xbox 360 on Tuesday.
These characters are, so far, announced only for the Vita version. The Vita version is due for release later this year. Yet if someone has their hands on the videos now, three days before the console game's release, what the hell does that mean?
Or it's about to leave the storefront like another Capcom title.
With Street Fighter 6 now upon us, it's time to look back at some classic Street Fighter titles, beginning with Street Fighter X Tekken.
It was a cool gamble imo. In reality, everyone were waiting for Namco version, Tekken X Street Fighter.
What killed this game was their planned reliance on GaaS with the whole gem system. It made little sense and made the game extremely unbalanced. Not to mention the unbalance of most of the characters, especially on the Tekken side
Ahhh the game that Capcom had DLC on the disc on release yet you had to pay to unlock it
VGChartz's Daniel Parker: "Tekken and Street Fighter - two giants of the head-to-head fighting genre. A clashing of decades-old titans that was once thought to be a dream matchup that would never happen. It ignited a flame of excitement that quickly fizzled out and became a cautionary tale for game developers."
Cole?
Capcom wasn't the first to do this and they won't be the last so get over it. This game looks amazing and the online modes will make this a great party game.
i'm boycotting capcom this time
You have to be brain dead to support this kind of abuse i mean its not even technically DLC because its already on the freaking disc. Its like somebody strait up telling you that they are ripping you off to your face and your like ok cool.
Maybe its all pre-release media buzz... it would see very well now if they said they would be released free drip fedd until the Vita release. But I am highly suspicious of this. They could be Unlockable characters too!?! Capcom need to shed light and let fans know if they are going to be ripped off with an uncomplete software product... why hasn't this been tried in a court in America yet? Ha!
