10 Reasons Mass Effect 3 May Disappoint

GR: "All the internet is abuzz with the impending release of BioWare-EA’s juggernaut RPG Mass Effect 3. All the internet? No. On the fringe of civilization, in the rough and infernally cold country of Germany there’s one videogame writer who resists the temptation. He just can’t be brought to give a damn about what BioWare has cooking."

Haters will hate though... I don't underdtand it. If you don't like the game, just move on.

Sure, me3 will be, at least, as good as me2. And that already means 'awesome'.

Don't understand all the frustration coming from the haters.

I'm sure this game will be amazing, but there will probably be things that can be improved or changed.

I mean, ME2 was an excellent sequel, they did some things better than ME1, but they took away some cool features.

ME2 wasn't as good as ME1 to me. I got bored just before going through the Omega 4 Mass Relay. I have a good few reaosns why but I can't be bothered to list them. In a short answer, I would say it was structured like a Tps, and not an RPG. I mean everything about it, not just the combat.

So I don't know how I will feel about ME3. They said they gave it more RPG elements but as far as I know they just meant the loot/equipment/upgrade system. The core gameplay is still like ME2 unless i'm mistaken. And also unless i'm mistaken, they haven't said much on Exploration? Can anyone tell me if they did, maybe they were saving it for GDC though.

On an upnote, the fact that I didn't like ME2 much means I haven't really been looking at previews and stuff of ME3. So I could simply go dark on it now if I want to. I haven't done that in a long ime

i didnt enjoy mass effect 2 as much as 1 either but i still thought ME2 was amazing.

it would be like ME1 - 9, ME2 - 8.5.

still two of the best games this gen and without question my fav new ip ( tied with darksiders and demon/dark souls )

i foudn they improved ME1 in the right areas with ME2 but they took away too many important features ( inventory management, the biotics were useless since it was more or less a tps, the ending was weak and the story just wasnt as good )

I can tell you that planet scanning returns, there is a video on IGN about it. No Mako exploration as far as I know (which is one of the best things about the first game...)

From what I've seen and played, ME3 is somewhere between ME1 and 2 as its a combination of both. Although I'm going to say its more 2 and 1.

I'm worried about how Bioware will end it and slightly worried about them messing with the personalities of the allies (ala DA2 [both in ending and character]). Otherwise I have little worries, judging by the MP the gameplay may even be more fun then ME2 and they re-added/upgraded some inventory stuff from ME1 so all should be good.
