GameBandits: "Several PC users of the action adventure title Deus Ex - Human Revolution have complained of a very peculiar bug. The game stutters, supposedly."
Hrm. Been a while since I beat it but I don't recall any stuttering.
me neither the game worked fine for me.
Same , the game ran amazing after the first patch , 60 fps in DX11 no problem.
I did have it, but it was fixed ages ago for me with one of the earliest patches. I have a pretty powerful machine and suffered it but within a couple of weeks a patch arrived and new drivers and the game ran very fast and fluidly afterwards. Great game BTW. Not as good as the first but still very worthy and a must play.
i played this like 3 times when it came out without any problems and i had a modest pc at the time
It's a very sporadic bug, but it IS "widespread" (that is, it's affected enough people that it's not considered a few isolated hardware or software issues). I have a PC copy and a 360 copy of the game because of this BS. It makes the game unplayable if you're unlucky enough to get it.
its unfortunate people are having problems. :-/ i beat the game twice without any hiccups.
Beat it on OnLive (which is pretty much the PC version). Did not notice any stuttering.
Ugh T_T some fool is probably trying to set SSAO to high on a midrange machine.
I did get the stuttering even tho I used to get roughly 55-60+ fps all maxed out. Maybe its the graphics card. Mine is Ati 5850. Could be Amd issues?
Hmmm not sure , Currently running it with an ATI 5870 and no problems as of yet, hard to pin this one on ATI cards.
They fixed stuttering eons ago.....
There was terrible stuttering through the game in Dx10. Dx11 cards don't suffer the issue, but it was a pain in the arse when I played it on a 9800gtx.
Horrible game. I played it for 4 hours and thought that the game was totally uninspired.
I thought this was fixed in the second patch. The game stuttered on my PC but it was fine after the patch. My problem now is that the game won't launch after I migrated to Windows 7 64 bit (my old PC was a Win XP). I read somewhere about how to fix that but failed when I tried to. So now the game is just sitting there, wasting valuable hard disk space. It's a good game. Not great but good.
