65% of Internet Users Have Never Purchased a Mobile Game – Magid

GameDaily's exclusive research series from the experts at Frank N. Magid Associates continues with a look at wireless gaming. A majority of users still don't play mobile games, even free ones.

Just over 80 percent of Internet users, ages 12 to 64, own a cell phone or PDA and no doubt sooner than later we will see as many consumers with cell phones as with landlines, and even TVs.

However, only a bit over 10 percent of all Internet users, 12 to 64, play some type of mobile game at least once a week or more often. This represents over 15 percent of all wireless device owners.
