Vita Game Data Shouldn’t Be Tied To Game Saves

"We here at PSLS love our Vitas, hell we’ve played all the games on it, but there’s one thing that really bugs us – that game saves are tied to the entire game data of a digital title, so deleting one deletes the other." - PSLS

That is stupid. Should be fixed in the next firmware.

Even worse, trophies are attached to the game data. I started getting Michael Jackson trophies on my Japanese Vita, then tried playing on my US Vita and it told me I couldn't earn trophies unless I logged in with the original account.

Cmon now, that's really just BAD. It's like they're treating me like some kind of SMOOTH CRIMINAL. Things don't need to be so BLACK OR WHITE. I REMEMBER THE TIME when people didnt have to worry about things like DRM or piracy.

Shit, I ran out. Can anyone keep this going? You will get bubbles. :)

Majin-vegeta3525d ago

*I REMEMBER THE TIME when people didnt have to worry about things like DRM or piracy that was a big THRILLER:D.

It's a DANGEROUS move because they're going to make so many consumers BEAT IT cause they can't stand having their saves on their Game Data, Sony.. WHY YOU WANNA TRIP ON ME when I DON'T WANNA STOP TILL I GET ENOUGH!?

Sony, you should REMEMBER THE TIME when things were more simple.

THEY DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT US. It's a damn shame too. The need to take a good look at THE MAN IN THE MIRROR and think if that's how they want the perception to be. It's like they want me to keep my Vita IN THE CLOSET and just play my PS3. Maybe it's HUMAN NATURE in this day and age to BLAME IT ON THE BOOGIE. Now I'm just not making sense...

knifefight3525d ago

THE WAY THIS MAKES ME FEEL is like I'm gonna do something DANGEROUS like SCREAM and then JAM my Vita OFF THE WALL.

Deadpool6163525d ago (Edited 3525d ago )

I agree! All this DRM and other crap is BAD. It's really putting the gaming industry in a JAM. If YOU WANNA BE STARTIN' SOMETHIN' companies make sure YOU ARE NOT ALONE when it comes to relating to your customers. Gamers KEEP YOUR HEAD UP.

Wow. I didn't think I could do it! o_o
I must applaud you guys. That was fun! =D

When I first saw the PSV, I said to myself "THIS IS IT!". This is the gaming handheld that I've been waiting looking for. It has the features that I wanted.

The 2 analog sticks were the main selling point for me. Unlike the PSP that only have 1 stupid n00b. That's why I BEAT IT.

I REMEMBER THE TIME I first got my PSV last year. The store owner where I frequently bought my games announced that they have PSV on stock. I was so excited that I GOT TO BE THERE and buy it. I was so nervous and afraid that many people will go buy at the same time and left me with nothing. And the stupid traffic JAM did not help ease my feeling either. WILL YOU BE THERE when I get there?

And there it is. It's such a PRETTY YOUNG THING. Looking on the MAN IN THE MIRROR at that beautiful OLED screen is such a THRILLER. I wanna SHOUT with excitement.

LOl! Sorry off topic there. XD

I'd figure that saving space will be more important on a handheld. I have found the seperation of game and save data on PS3 invaluable. I hope they can make a memory card as big as we need while maintaining the physical size of the card. So far I've seen impressive sizes (though expensive) but I'd expect we are going to need more. Let's hope they will fix this in the very near future.

hazelamy3525d ago

well that's just bloody stupid.

and the thing is, it may be fixable, but that assumes sony ever actually consider it a problem.

i doubt the saves were tied to the game data like that by mistake.

Ocean3525d ago

If enough gamers make their voices heard then Sony will change it.

As for inserting MJ into your posts...just brilliant
