A Necessary Evil

"So I got to thinking, as I sniped the Cerberus officer with a beautifully timed and impeccably skilled headshot in the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer demo, and spurred on by a conversation I was having simultaneously, that something didn’t quite fit. The game’s a lot of fun, and to say I’m looking forward to the full game is something of an understatement, but it also seems to be lacking something. There’s a certain connectivity to the actual, main single player campaign that doesn’t exist. The single player and the multiplayer are almost like totally separate games. So why tack on what could be deemed an unnecessary facet onto an already huge gaming franchise?"
