Ono: No Comment on Download Characters for PS3/360 Street Fighter x Tekken

Andriasang writes, "Following Capcom's announcement earlier today that the PlayStation Vita version of Street Fighter x Tekken would arrive in the Fall with 12 new characters, the general assumption was that the PS3 and 360 versions, which arrive on March 8, would have those characters added as download content. Probably one or two dlc if we are lucky, then here comes Super SFxTK and then Ultimate SFxTK and even Arcade edition.

I was planning to get a PS Vita version. March is turning out to be a busy month (3 x Silent Hill, ME3, Resident Evil) so i can't wait a little longer :)

The Vita version isn't coming out till November. So in the meantime console players would be waiting for the Vita to intro them before we get them as dlc most likely next year. They make it seem like the Vita is the major player here, altho UMvC3 on the Vita is damn good! That decision I'm sure will conjure up a lot of unnecessary hate for the Vita when they should all be treated equally. Consoles are king. Not handhelds. Not ever.

Wow, why should the Vita version get 12 major fighters but not consoles?! I'm sure we'll get them, but a handheld version shouldn't get them before a console version! Capcom, listen to your fans! We want those fighters at the same time as the Vita and we also want Resident Evil: Revelations as well as Monster Hunter for the PSVita!
