More on Ninja Gaiden Sigma

Ninja Gaiden Sigma - a special edition of the nimble-footed and utterly merciless slice-'em-dead actioner from Tecmo - has been confirmed for release on PS3.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma will feature new stages and weapons, a major upgrade to graphics and 'direction' (the fixed camera angles being one of the few complaints with the smashing original, other than its towering difficulty), and - in perhaps the biggest selling point - buxom femme fatale Rachael will be a playable character, the latest issue of Japanese gaming hotline Famitsu has revealed.

I do "think" it's a port but, I have some evidence that could sway some people opinions
1.) Itagaki, the creator of the series on 360 love his CGI, and with the limits of DVD9 could be swayed to put his franchise on PS3. Don't believe me? here's a good link to read...
Itagaki sounds off on Xbox 360 limitations:
2.) Itagaki does have found feelings for the PS3 hardware that you can read yourself in the following link.
Tomonobu Itagaki:
3.)Here's another dated article but it definetly stirs the pot.
Ninja Gaiden and PS3 -- An Editorial Tecmo announces five new games at Xbox 360 summit, but Ninja Gaiden 2 isn't one of them. Could this mean something more? by Jeremy Dunham
4.) Ninja Gaiden didn't sell all that well on Xbox certainly not as good as it would have on PS3..........
5.) here is a translated list of upcoming games and you'll which side Ninja Gaiden is on
well the info is there for this debate and it will be interesting how this ends, either way it's a great game and I can't wait to play it on either console.......

I would easily count Ninja Gaiden among the top 5 games on the original Xbox, so it's nice to see you guys getting some love from Team Ninja. Just so you know, the game is ridiculously hard; well worth it, but difficult to distraction.

I almost wonder what MS's reaction is going to be, given that Tecmo's Team Ninja really represents one of their key weapons in the battle for the Japanese market.

PS ~ Truth, none of your links worked for me. :(
