Touch Arcade: Dodonpachi Blissful Death [$4.99] is a port of Cave’s 2002 arcade title Dodonpachi Dai Ou Jou, and is a direct prequel to their previous iOS effort Dodonpachi Resurrection [$7.99/Lite] (which also happens to be my favorite of the Cave iOS shooters, FYI).

Touchgen: We’re seriously spoiled for choice when it comes to arcade shooters on the AppStore. And no where is this more apparent than with every release so far from CAVE. Be it winged humanoids of Espgaluda; flying witches of DeathSmiles; or Bug Slaying princesses from Bug Princess
STP: Now that iOS devices have established themselves as gaming platforms, we can safely label the genres that work well with the touchscreen, as well as those that don't. For instance, the good souls over at CAVE have successfully demonstrated that the iOS touchscreen and the bullet hell branch of the shoot 'em up (shmup) genre are a match made in (bullet?) heaven.
