Which Has Better Online Store Music: 3DS Or Vita?

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Upon visiting PlayStation Network on Sony's new Vita system, we were surprised to find happy music there to greet us, which at first seemed out of place given the publisher involved, but hey...new handheld...new direction.

With this in mind, there's also the 3DS eShop jingle that is equally effective in creating a friendly atmosphere. You know, the better to spend money with.

Well, the publisher/manufacturer owns Sony Music. So you would have expect it to have this.

Regardless of which store is better, as an audio wannabe enthusiast lol, sound quality of the 3ds is although pretty good but nothing to write home about.

I haven't tried the vita through my headphones yet but I'll get the chance to try it as soon as I get my pre-order.

It's a tie. They both lose.

Sounds like elevator music. I'd prefer some jazz. Something like this.

or maybe a setting to let people choose what kind of music they'd like to be greeted with. Or maybe let a preselected song play from your own library when you enter the store....... I sound like a spoiled rich kid.

I thought both were ok, but I think it might have been a good idea to give choices of what music you wanted to listen to in case you don't like the default.

I'd expect the Vita to be better in that category. But then again I like Sony's handhelds a lot more for gaming and music, the nintendo handhelds don't cut it for me anymore, feel a little too grown up for them.

Nintendo games are fun no matter what age IMO.
