THQ did a magnificent job of unleashing UFC into the video game world. On their second installment, however, they made quite a few design choices that angered fans and turned the overall product into an unimpressive hot mess. The high learning curve, along with the complex control scheme, had many gamers shaking their head and throwing in the towel. This time around, THQ and Yuke’s have taken a two year break and addressed many issues found in previous installments. Not only have they succeeded in making a sports game feel fresh and unique, they’ve created the most complete and robust MMA game on the planet.
