Which game machine is right for you?

Though there aren't any new consoles launching this holiday season, game machines remain among the hottest gifts on store shelves (or perhaps missing from store shelves) this year.

Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft all have a variety of game machines to offer consumers – each with their own pros and cons:

If you're a BABOON, go for the 360.

If you're an intelligent person who appreciates the quality things in life, go for the PlayStation 3.

If you want to save money on your heating bill during the cold months ahead, buy the 360. I heard that thing puts out heat like a moahfuka....AAHAHHHAhAA

Disperse heat thats what the PS3 is designed to do and does it very well so while the it does get really hot the heat is pushed out of the console thus keepin the hardware running cooler. That however is the problem with the Xbox360 it doesn't disperse heat properly that cause it to over heat and warp "RROD"

If you want a $250 paper weight with no quality games get a Wii.
You want games & movies in HD, music and all that crap, get a PS3.

Microsoft's Xbox 360 offer superior graphics with it's tremendous AAA Titles. Not only that, it offers users the ability to shop through the XBL Marketplace if you're into buying/renting movies, shows, and music/music videos. Only the 360 offer these services plus more!

Both the PS3 and the 360. Why settle for one when you can have the best of both worlds? There is no exclusive game I can't play, well... except on the Wii :(

When Fable 2 comes out, I won't be left out. When FFXIII is released, I'll be in line to buy it. Online battle in Halo 3, I'm in. Hanging with old and soon to be friends in Home, I'm there. I love my PS3 and 360, and no one is going to make me choose one or the other. Hell, I may get a few disagrees, but I'm sorry, there are too many great games coming out for both consoles. I don't want to pass on these awesome games just for some "war" that I will never get something out from.

I rather the xbox 360 not because its perfect well its not.

Gaming Library- AAA titles so far
Controllers - Easier for most games except fighters.
XBL- nuff said, Content galore, match making, in-game chat
Price - well we all know thats a big factor.

I say buy what fits you best; so far the majority of the posts are nothing but biased fanboy garbage. Owning more than one system is nice however not everyone has that luxury, or aren't convinced enough to own more than one console.

Ten years ago it was based on new technology vs. older technology (cartridge and CD medium); that was a much better argument outside the Super Nintendo/Sega Genesis days.

Ten years later (Todays time) its always based around the same garbage: propaganda, sales charts, the same 2-3 games, and extra features that we can live without; which doesn't prove anything but how stupid some of the people are.

Well based on the games i like and the franchises that i love it think my Avitar clearly shows the right console for me.

The Wii is only innovative around its controller, the games are far over hyped (almost as bad as the 360) and yes I did play on the Wii and yes there are a few games I do like to play and yes someday I plan on buying one once Nintendo stops their "shortage" bs that a lot of people know is nothing but false stories to drive the sales even higher.

As far as the numbers go all Nintendo is doing is trying to ship out just enough consoles so the stores won't be as overstocked as with the ps3 and the 360; if you look between the lines thats all it's about. It's smart yet a stupid move at the same time.
