Square Enix and Ankama challenge players to embark on a treacherous journey to WAKFUS highest point in the World of Twelve Mt. Zinit. Set in a strange, yet beautiful environment, Mt. Zinit was once a sacred and holy land, but is now reined by a heartbroken Ogrest, who after losing his beloved, has become riddled with grief. His sobs continue to drown the world, marking the beginning of the Wakfu Era. Now, its your mission to follow a dangerous path filled with new quests, monsters, and zones to reach the peak of Mt. Zinit, defeat the Ogrest, and finally put an end to all of the chaos he has created.
Players will have access to Mt. Zinit and additional content when the new patch is live on February 15, 2012.
As most video game enthusiasts will attest, TV shows and other adaptations of video games are usually disappointing, if not completely terrible. One of the absolute best exceptions to this rule is Wakfu.
Wakfu has become one of a very few MMORPG’s with a true companion anime series, and in the case of Wakfu, the companion series actually runs alongside the game. Kelba Island was recently introduced in the anime, and players now have full access to the entirety of the bird infested landmass along with all of the adventures it has to offer.
