MMGN.COM writes: When it comes to the Point and Click Adventure genre, no one has more pull than Tim Schafer. Gaming's funny man was behind some of the biggest and brightest titles in the genre, with a career that spans from Monkey Island, all the way through to his final magnum opus, Grim Fandango. When the P&C genre slowly died at the end of the 90's, Schafer moved on to create Double Fine Studios, who have moved on with great success into other genres, launching a number of successful titles.
Double Fine Productions has teased the next Time Schafer game in the latest episode of PsychOdyssey on YouTube.
It looks like a third entry isn't happening soon.
Over 30-year industry veteran and Double Fine CEO Tim Schafer talks to IGN about Xbox and Game Pass, making weirder games, his inspirations, the Psychonauts 2 documentary, improving work culture, his future plans, and the deep importance of making games with and for other human beings.
Great interview and really down to earth guy. I’m interested in watching the documentary they made on the making of Psychonauts 2 .
Psychonauts 2 PLEASE!!!!!! Tim
Also, Kickstarter is an amazing concept to fund projects. I helped the funding for Thankskilling 2. Nice to help people out.
