Sega move will create 60 jobs

Japanese computer games giant SEGA is to create 60 jobs in the West Midlands over the next 12 months.

The world-renowned company - creator of household names like Sonic the Hedgehog and SEGA Rally - is to develop the SEGA Racing Studio at Blythe Valley Business Park in Solihull.

It will be producing racing and driving games for the new generation of consoles - including the X Box 360 and the Play-Station 3 - and for arcades and PCs for the European and US markets. Each game produced is in excess of a £5 million investment for the company.
