Tomb Raider Chronicles - December 13th 2007:
Play magazine has scored an exclusive unveiling of Tomb Raider Underworld, Lara Croft's third adventure under the aegis of U.S. developer Crystal Dynamics. The issue will hit news-stands end of December and will feature a world-exclusive including screenshots and the unearthing of a brand new Lara Croft model.
Despite its relatively modest reputation in the greater gaming landscape, Tomb Raider Underworld was a huge game for AI development.
Gamerheadquarters; "With there being over seven hundred games, here are the best deals and in general the best games you should be checking out on Xbox 360."
The Tomb Raider Collection is on sale for $50.50 as part of the Humble Store’s Tomb Raider Week. The collection normally retails for over $200.
The Tomb Raider Collection includes every Tomb Raider game ever released for PC prior to Shadow of the Tomb Raider, including the award-winning Rise of the Tomb Raider and the top-down shooter Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.
I was hoping she was still dead... what happened to that story arc? That was good, it worked for me... Leave $HIT buried where it belongs. This franchise has never been good.
It should probably take a few hints from Uncharted.
Im looking forward to this. Crystal Dynamics has laid out some good base work to reimagine this series. The last two games were past-gen games and pretty fun, so it will be interesting to see what they will do with current gen systems.
sequel never beat original
No intended offense to Lara Croft fans, but for every brand-new Tomb Raider adventure (as evidenced by the numerous sequels) it just that something is going to be missing. Once again nothing against the series since I was, and still am, a big fan of the original Tomb Raider (kept me glued to my PS1 ten years ago), it's just that developers sometimes tend to make ideas that seem out of place. Hopefully they leave out the "X-file"-esque travesty of TR 3 and keep the settings in ancient ruins as strictly as possible.
