...Darksiders II was instead revealed to be a parallel story that runs concurrently with the events of the original, and features only Death as the primary character. During our recent interview with Vigil Games Producer Ryan Stefanelli, we asked why the bait-and-switch, to which he replied, “…if we had just rolled straight into the story of the four horsemen and what they were doing together...

I expected a game for each horsemen and then a fifth one with all four horsemen united...
Still stoked for the second one. I dont want to talk a 3 until I know the 2nd can hold a candle to the first.
Who the hell are Fury and Strife the other two horsemen are
Pestilence and Famine there just making stuff up im a bit annoyed !!!
For some strange reason I replayed Darksiders this whole week. I have a whole list of the latest albeit unfinished game (Cysis 2, BF3, Dead Space 2, Singularity and Batman Arkham City to name a few)and yet I suddenly decided to finish this one first after all these years.
How do Famine and Pestilence will do combat in games anyway? I've always thought THQ will simply ignore them since their ability doesn't really involve chopping people up like War. I also thought that if they are going to make Death as the next main character, he might be like a ninja, adding a stealth gameplay to the series by phasing in and out of dimensions. Instead he'll be chopping people up head on just like War.
All four Horsemen joining forces in a game? Sounds like a reason to add an online co-op element to the series. Like the Inglorious Bastardizing of the up-coming Brothers in Arms "sequel".
Shit, Death looks cooler with white hair.
