A few reasons to have hope for Club Nintendo

Club Nintendo does have some cool rewards, but the items are highly subjective. Unless you’re 12 or into stickers, posters, and other Nintendo-related swag, you haven’t been able to spend your hard-earned Nintendo coins on many actual games.

That's all changed now though.

This game is so trippy when one considers Link is dead, and tripping in limbo or something.

Majora's Mask, a major oddity in the series as the game is shaped around the story rather than the story being shaped around the game as Nintendo usually does. It wants you to be invested in saving the world and all the unique individuals in it. The game was made so fast too, this is really its saving grace. Certain aspects of the original game technically are a bit rough (poor Z targeting getting made into jank), and the boss fights just generally aren't good in either the original or the remake. The dungeons themselves are generally actually pretty interesting, but the true draw is everything that happens outside of them ultimately.

Such a gnarly game! The gameplay is so varied because Link can transform into totally different characters. Swimming around as a Zora was so chiilll

Kirby's Dream Land, A Thirty Year Reunion

WTMG's Oliver Shellding: "We can respect and acknowledge those that came before us: it’s just good manners and showcases that we know our history. I will always be appreciative of Kirby’s Dream Land, and I think that Kirby enthusiasts (as well as Gameboy fans) should go back and give it a try. Yes, it looks and plays better in almost every subsequent incarnation, but there’s heart here. There’s a lot of care and soul and amazing groundwork that led to even better things. And, most importantly, there’s Kirby."

Easily one of my childhood favorites.

This was one of the first, if not the first, Gameboy games I played all the way through.

Still my favorite in the series.
